Challenge

This client came to Epitome Living seeking ideas for how to make her new build feel like home.

Initially she wanted smart lights to control the mood of her living spaces in the evening. But when she was planning her build, she hadn't thought about the smart features that could make her life at home easier, as well as more aesthetic. 

After speaking to Epitome Living, the client decided to invest more in her smart system to increase its usability for the whole family.

Solution

This client’s home was finished with a fully integrated Loxone automation system including access control, security, lighting, heating, and audio. 

The Epitome Living team spent time with the client figuring out exactly how she wanted her home to feel, and how it would be used day-to-day, rather than just how it would look, as she had initially planned.

The client’s whole home can now be turned off with three taps of a switch by her bed, or elsewhere in her home, saving her time, money, and energy as she raises her young family. This level of intelligent, simplified control is only possible thanks to the customisable, connected solutions available through Loxone.

Post move-in, the client called Epitome Living again to add an extra camera to her security system so she can keep an eye on her children when they're playing on the climbing frame outside. This enhanced the usability of the system even further and provided an innovative solution to a problem the client only recognised when she’d been living in her home for a time.
