Assisted Living Showroom
Challenge
In 2025, we met the team from Sync Living at a trade show both brands were exhibiting at. Conversations began about how ambient assisted living technology (AAL) can give people with additional mobility needs the independence to live alone.
Sync Living had the in-house expertise to know what their customers need from smart technology but needed our practical knowledge to design and install the systems.
Conversations progressed to action, and we set out to create a range of Loxone-based AAL packages that would be available for Sync Living customers to purchase from us.
To showcase the AAL solutions, we installed the technology in Sync Living's showroom.
Solution
In early 2026 we installed an AAL solution at Sync Living’s Independence & Mobility Hub in Belfast. The fitout gives Sync Living’s customers the chance to experience an AAL solution in person before committing to its installation.
The solution exhibits what a core AAL system from Loxone can do alongside showcasing the benefits of additions like an audio system, access control, and motorised cupboard and worktop integration.
Sync Living’s Independence & Mobility Hub is the first dedicated independent living showroom in Ireland and offers personalised assessments and expert advice on mobility and accessibility products. Now, it’s also the first independent living showroom to have smart technology installed.
A range of AAL packages are now available for Sync Living customers to purchase from Epitome Living after experiencing Loxone’s technology for themselves in Sync Living’s showroom.
